Accelerated
Accelerated courses are delivered in person using a shortened time and session format (10 weeks or 8 weeks). Web or online technologies may be used in conjunction with general instruction to complete required course delivery time.
Blended
Blended courses blend online and in person instruction. A minimum of 40% of the instruction is delivered through each method.
Flex Lab
Flex Lab courses allow a student to select the hours they will attend the lab. Lab time does not have formal presentations or demonstrations as part of the class.
In Person
In Person courses are delivered using an in person course format. The course may use technology to facilitate face-to-face instruction (e.g. chats, thread discussions, home page-class schedule, and assignments).
Independent Study
Independent study courses are intended for the student who shows interest in an area of study not offered through the regular curriculum.
ITV
ITV courses involve real-time, live video/audio instruction via network or broadcast technology or web conferencing, Courses include students at one or more remote sites, and where interaction between the professional staff member and students is synchronous.
Online
Online courses are offered via the Internet and accessed by the student using a Web browser in an asynchronous format. Off-line supervised tests/exams at specified sites may be conducted in conjunction with these courses. Typically, the course has no in person meetings.
Print Based Correspondence
Print based correspondence courses are delivered via print-based correspondence.
Telecourses Courses
Telecourses courses involve pre-produced video lessons with test, study guides, learning activities and student evaluation. They may be delivered via television, videocassettes, interactive videodiscs, CD-ROM, or similar materials using multimedia learning situations. Instructional Support is provided by faculty and may be in-person, by telephone, email or clinical lab.
